The purpose of Breach of Integrity (BOI) testing is to determine the integrity of the inner and outer wall of a tank, piping, or containment component.
* Florida DEP rules require breach of integrity testing at the time of system installation and every 5 years thereafter for the following: double-walled Underground Storage Tanks (USTs) with closed interstitial spaces; double-bottomed Aboveground Storage Tanks (ASTs); and double-walled integral piping with a closed interstitial space that is in contact with the soil and connected to USTs or ASTs.
In Florida, this test requirement has been in place for almost 15 years now and Down Under has been performing Breach of Integrity testing since that time . We perform Breach of Integrity Testing on all double walled components tusing those standards recommended by the component manufacturer and in accordance with other applicable provisions. The tests are performed safely and by technicians who are experienced and qualified.
